We got our first housesit!

By Colin Clapp

Housesitting your way around the world is definitely one legitimate low-cost accommodation strategy for digital nomads including digital nomad families.

After several applications (when we knew we’d be moving on from Penang, Malaysia) Elly successfully pitched for our first digital nomad house-sitting gig around December 2017. Which was to look after a cat in the Canggu area of Bali, Indonesia starting the following February This after we had already booked our flights earlier this week for #unstoppablemastermindbali2018. Now looking forward to an extended stay in Indonesia early next year!

22nd December update: We successfully applied for an Indonesian social visa meaning we can stay there for between 2-6 months on a single entry. We got this from the Indonesian consulate in Penang, Malaysia and we’ll try to write about this whole process in a bit more detail..

Until then, it’s Bali here we come (on 17th January, 2018 to be exact)

Watch out for our social updates for the Unstoppable Mastermind too!
